Murray Bookchin may be one of the most influential radicals of the past century.  His in-depth knowledge of ecology, political theory, and anthropology provides the structure for his, not only theoretical, but practical solutions to the difficult situations we find ourselves in today.  His concept of Libertarian municipalism is currently being used as a model for the Kurds in Rojava, which, so far, has been a successful endeavor.  Only time will tell if the revolutionary experiment will stand, but it’s important to not only understand the situation on the ground, but also, the principals and values which has lead too its current success.
